I kinda fell into unfaithfulness by accident, you know.
What? Me?
No, I'm not a cheat. I'm happily monogamous.
Mostly. ;-)
But I found out one hot and steamy night that my husband didn't think the same way.
He thought of me as one of "those girls".
He didn't think I was having an affair...
But he dreamed that I was!
Yeah, that shocked the heck out of me.
Right there in our bedroom, it almost killed the mood.
As time passed and I thought about it, his weird fetish also opened up a whole world of new possibilities.
I began researching and discovered that the reality of monogamy was NOT what I grew up believing!
Had everyone lied to me? Parents, teachers, preachers, friends, well-meaning guidance counselors, every romance novel and rom-com? All of them?
It wasn't that bad.
Monogamy is the right answer for most relationship questions, truly.
But there are people out there that need a little "cheating" in their lives.
Maybe it's a bad-boy who can't keep his eyes off your bff.
Maybe it's that girl who texts her ex a little too often.
Truth is, infidelity is all over the place.
Humans crave variety. Men and women both have their own reasons for wandering.
It just happens that sometimes these "unfaithful" partnerships work out for everyone's advantage.
Monogamy is more often the exception than the rule.
You can either accept that and find happiness in it.
Or you can suffer the consequences of your ignorance.

Understand, my writing isn't for everyone.
Lots of people are too shy, out of touch with their own bodies, and ashamed of their own desires and sexual fantasies. Let's face it, a lot of people are so timid that they'll stick with a life of repetitive boredom to avoid the smallest discomfort.
